Jake Oddi is currently a Research Fellow at NYU Stern School of Business, focusing on portfolio optimization with conformal prediction. Simultaneously, Jake serves as an incoming Quantitative Analyst at Balyasny Asset Management L.P., specializing in commodities. Previous experience includes a Quantitative Developer role with expertise in quant equities, cross-commodity systematic trading, and crude oil and refined products, as well as a Courant Research Fellow position at NYU Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, working on superpixel-based vision transformers. Jake also completed a software engineering internship at CleanRobotics, concentrating on synthetic data generation, and a machine learning research internship at 5x5 Technologies Inc., focusing on deep learning applications on point clouds. Educationally, Jake is pursuing a dual degree in Computer Science and Business at NYU Stern School of Business, having graduated from Rye Country Day School in 2020.
