Thomas Woolhead

Thomas Woolhead is an experienced finance professional and technology developer with a strong background in quantitative development and financial engineering. Currently serving as a Quant Developer/Kdb+ Architect at Balyasny Asset Management L.P. since March 2023, Thomas previously held the position of Senior Kdb+/Python/Java Developer at Fidelity Investments from August 2022 to March 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Java/Kdb+ Developer at Schonfeld and UBS, and a Fixed Income Electronic Trading Developer at RBS Markets & International Banking. Thomas began his career at First Derivatives, where significant experience as a Financial Engineer was gained from February 2010 to March 2023. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from University College Dublin.
