Will Knight is currently a Lead Engineer in Execution Technology at Balyasny Asset Management, where they develop execution trading algorithms for portfolio managers and central risk. Prior to this role, Will served as the Head of EMEA Agency Algorithmic Trading Technology at UBS Investment Bank from 2004 to 2023. Their career began as an IEE Graduate Engineer at DML from 1996 to 1998, followed by a position as an Infrastructure Software Developer at Fidessa, where they focused on server-side development in C++ on UNIX/Linux systems. Will also worked as a consultant on-site at Morgan Stanley, contributing to the Fidessa suite of products.
