Dushant Puri

Dushant Puri is an experienced Student Site Council Representative from Benicia High School, serving from August 2019 to June 2023, and has gained diverse experience in various roles. As a Bay Area Summer Academy Student with the Metropolitan Transportation Commission in July 2022, Dushant contributed to a project focused on improving regional transportation systems. Dushant worked as a Calibration Technician at Medical Electronic Devices & Instrumentation, calibrating and repairing audiometers from June 2022 to July 2023, and served as a Steering Committee Member at Sustainable Solano, planning educational events on sustainable living from August 2022 to August 2023. Current roles include serving as a server at Rookies Sports Bar & Grill and a theater usher at the Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive, and providing mentorship through the Students Rising Above program. Dushant is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Atmospheric Science at the University of California, Berkeley, from 2023 to 2027, following the completion of a high school diploma from Benicia High School.
