Eric Bomgardner

Eric Bomgardner is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience spanning over three decades in the telecommunications sector. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Bandwidth Inc., Eric focuses on powering messaging applications. Prior to this role, Eric worked at Nokia, where significant contributions included automating NCS subscriptions for java modules and improving user database security and portability through innovative coding solutions. Eric's earlier tenure at Alcatel-Lucent involved architecting a PON management subsystem that managed configurations and performance for a large number of users with diverse services. Eric began the career as a Software Engineer at Alcatel Network Systems, where foundational work included porting BGP code and enhancing L3 capabilities. Eric holds a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Ohio Institute of Technology, with additional education from Alcatel University and NCSU continuing education.
