Michelle Birch

Michelle leads the high-performing global operations team at Bandwidth, ensuring customers receive a best-in-class Bandwidth Experience–from onboarding and traffic assurance, to number operations and technical support. Michelle champions a human-centric approach to customer service, which along with the company’s unique people-focused culture, is the reason Bandwidth maintains a high customer satisfaction rating.

Originally a programmer, Michelle has built a 30-year career of leading cross-functional teams to elevate customer excellence and deliver complex projects. She headed the integration of Bandwidth’s acquisition of Voxbone in Oct. 2020, driving organizational, cultural and operational changes to transform Bandwidth into a global cloud communications leader.

Her previous experience includes a mix of pre-IPO and public companies–including American Tower, SpectraSite, Motricity, GMA Healthcare and Freddie Mac–across a number of categories, including software, mobile telecom, healthcare, financial services and digital advertising. Michelle has a B.S. in Technology Management from the University of Maryland.
