Ivan Volf Vestergaard

Ivan Volf Vestergaard currently serves as Teamleder - Chefkonsulent at Landbrugsstyrelsen since March 2019. Prior to this role, Ivan held the position of Special Consultant at The Agricultural Agency, Danish Ministry of The Environment and Food, from January 2018 to February 2019, focusing on agricultural policy related to the Danish Rural Development Programme. From January 2014 to December 2017, Ivan was the Head of Section in the Policy Division of The Danish AgriFish Agency, representing Denmark in the Rural Development Committee under the European Commission. Earlier experience includes working as an Economist at the Ministry of Environment from October 2008 to December 2013, where responsibilities included accounting and policy work at the Danish Agency for Forest and Nature. Ivan began their career as a Praktikant at the Danish Embassy in Uganda in 2005 and worked as a Landbrugsmedhjælper in various agricultural roles from 1993 to 1997.
