Heather Borgens

Heather Borgens is a seasoned professional in risk management and asset protection, currently serving as Regional Risk Manager for Banfield Pet Hospital since May 2023. Prior to this role, Heather amassed over two decades of experience at Target, where responsibilities included designing innovative solutions for the Last Mile business model, overseeing 25 Distribution Centers, and developing over 200 Assets Protection Team members. Expertise spans internal and external theft, case building with law enforcement, and influencing corporate asset protection policies. Heather holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Criminal Justice from Oklahoma City University.
