Mark Johnson

Mark Johnson has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Mark is currently the Commercial Director at AFE Ltd, where they oversee technology and business development. Prior to this, Mark was the Co-Founder and Director of Bang Curry Ltd. In 2021, they took on the role of Chair for the Oxfordshire Branch of The Institute of Directors, where they are responsible for setting the branch strategy and engaging with members.

Mark has also held leadership positions at Hybrid Air Vehicles Ltd, Cobham, AMETEK, Buhler Motor / Buehler Motor, DEAS - TRW, Delphi, and Dana Corporation. In these roles, they have managed various programmes and projects, focusing on the development, delivery, and integration of different technologies in the automotive and aerospace sectors. Mark's experience includes working on the Airlander 50 hybrid air vehicle programme, the A400M electro-hydraulic air-to-air refuelling system, and electronic unit injectors for commercial diesel engines.

Mark Johnson has a Master of Science degree in Business Management from the University of Warwick. Mark also holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Coventry University. In addition, they have achieved the Chartered Director (CDir) and Fellow IoD qualifications from the Institute of Directors (IoD).
