Simon Mikkelsen

Simon Mikkelsen is a Senior Software Developer at Bankdata since December 2021, focusing on the development of new microservices and micro frontend platforms while maintaining legacy banking systems and mentoring junior staff. As the founder and developer of zipstat.org, an open-source multiuser web page statistics tool, Simon has contributed significantly to open-source projects. Prior to Bankdata, Simon served as a Systems Engineer at Systematic Software Engineering A/S, where responsibilities included developing system integration for Danish banks and managing a complex corporate tax filing system. Earlier positions include software development roles at Gram & Juhl A/S, focusing on data infrastructure for wind turbine defect detection, and at OPI A/S as a student software developer, creating customizable reporting modules for production planning. Simon holds a Bachelor of Science in IT from the University of Southern Denmark and has received training as a Scrum Master from Jeff Sutherland.
