Jorge González

Jorge González has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Jorge is currently the DevOps Team Lead at Bankingly since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Datalogic Software from 2014 to an unspecified date, where they held the role of Project Manager.

From April 2019 to May 2022, Jorge served as the Head of DevOps at GEOCOM Uruguay S.A., where they were responsible for releasing products in the healthcare sector by automating processes and maintaining various environments. Jorge also provided support to other departments such as Development and QA.

Before that, Jorge worked as a Senior Developer and Technical Reference in five projects at GEOCOM Uruguay S.A. from August 2014 to April 2019. Jorge was involved in all phases of the projects and supported installations, in addition to maintaining and updating load testing using JMeter.

Prior to their time at GEOCOM Uruguay S.A., Jorge was a Software Developer at Datalogic Software from January 2012 to July 2014, where they worked on five different projects. From 2007 to 2012, they worked as a Software Developer at Sehabiague y Pons S.A.

Jorge also has teaching experience. In 2007, they worked as a Personal Teacher at IAC Capacitación, where they taught courses and conducted exams for young people with disabilities. From 2004 to 2007, they worked at Graphic Computación as a VB 6 Programmer, IT equipment technician, and course instructor.

In 2021, Jorge received a certificate in DevOps from Universidad ORT Uruguay. Jorge also obtained certifications in Kubernetes and Dockers, focusing on DevOps deployment.

In 2017, Jorge attended Artech and obtained a degree in Genexus para Smart Devices.

In 2010, they attended Artech Consultores and became an Analyst in Genexus X Evolution 1.

In 2011, Jorge enrolled in Instituto BIOS and pursued a career as a Systems Analyst.

Jorge completed their Technological Baccalaureate in Informatics from Instituto Tecnológico Superior “Arias Balparda” in 2010.

In 2008, they attended UIDEC and received training in Programming of Pics mode Assembler and Pic Basic Pro, as well as Advanced General Electronics.

In 2001, Jorge studied Programming QBasic and HTML at Liceo Militar "General Artigas."

Jorge completed their Bachiller degree, specialized in Bachillerato diversificado, from Liceo Militar "General Artigas" in 2001.
