Ricardo Sanchez

Ricardo Sanchez is an experienced financial professional currently serving as the Head of Capital Management at Bankinter since March 2014, responsible for capital needs calculation and reporting. Previously held the position of Head of Supervisory Relationship and Financial Regulation at Bankinter, overseeing the implementation of new financial regulations and coordinating stress test exercises. Additionally, Ricardo is a deputy board member of EFRAG's Financial Reporting Board and has served as Chairman of the Accounting Committee at the European Banking Federation since January 2018. Prior experience includes senior management roles at KPMG in both Spain and the UK, where responsibilities encompassed managing audit accounts and providing financial instruments advisory services. Ricardo holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Universidad Pontificia Comillas and a Master's degree in Financial Instruments and Derivatives from IEB, with ongoing studies in Leadership at IE University.
