Bannermedia is an independent product studio and technical consultancy based in London, founded in 2021. We build SaaS products and provide fractional-CTO and advisory work for founders and teams who care where their data lives and how reliable their infrastructure is.

Every product we ship runs on our own sovereign European infrastructure — a multi-region, high-availability platform migrated off US cloud services across 2026. Zero AWS, zero GCP, zero Cloudflare. It's the foundation for our own products and, increasingly, a platform we open up to other teams who need the
same assurances without building it themselves.

Products in flight:

• lowdown.today — intelligence briefing service
• Plotbeacon — planning-notice ingestion and alerts for UK residents and journalists
• Lettergraph — European newsletter platform with an EU-only stack

Services:

• Fractional CTO for early-stage founders
• Technical due diligence and architecture review
• SaaS platform engineering, stack-agnostic (Ruby on Rails, TypeScript/Next.js, Rust, and more as the problem demands)

Founder Edward Woodcock brings 17 years of senior engineering experience, previously CTO and co-founder of Dinghy (Balderton-backed, acquired by Kingsbridge), technical co-founder of Simple Merchant, and senior engineering roles at Simply Business and Cority. Past consulting clients include Zapnito, Progression and Workflow.design.
