Anton Foth

Anton Foth has a diverse work experience spanning a variety of companies and roles. Anton is currently the CTO & Co-Founder of Baobab, a position they have held since October 2021. Prior to this, Anton was the CTO of Coya, a full-stack insurance carrier, from September 2019 to September 2021.

From December 2015 to August 2019, Anton worked at BCG Digital Ventures as an Engineering Lead / Venture CTO. Anton also served as the Head of Engineering at Mobimeo from March 2018 to November 2018, where they managed a large team of engineers and was responsible for various aspects of engineering culture and solution architecture.

Anton served as the Venture CTO at Matmatch, a materials search platform, from February 2017 to October 2017, where they played a key role in system architecture, team building, and platform development. Before that, they were the CTO of Sproov from March 2013 to November 2015.

Anton also has experience as a lead developer and senior developer in freelance capacities at companies such as ressourcenmangel GmbH and DaWanda GmbH. Anton started their career as a Co-Founder of several startups, where they gained valuable entrepreneurial experience.

Throughout their career, Anton has demonstrated expertise in IT strategy, technology vision, software engineering, data science, and leading cross-functional teams. Anton has a strong background in solution architecture, product development, and team building.

Anton Foth pursued their education at Technische Universität Chemnitz from 2003 to 2008. During this time, they obtained a degree in Applied Computer Science, specifically a Dipl.Inf.
