Michael Birk

Michael Birk has extensive work experience in various technology roles. Michael is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Baotris, a growth investor for Shopify stores. In this role, they lead a team of data scientists, marketing experts, web engineers, and financial operators to help merchants grow their businesses.

Prior to Baotris, Michael worked as the Director of Engineering at Unity Technologies from 2014 to 2018. Before that, they served as the Sr. Director of Engineering at Playnomics in 2013.

Following this, they pursued further education and completed a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1994 to 1997.
