Sam Bird is an accomplished engineering professional currently serving as the Technical Manager for the Commercial Vehicle Group at Bapcor Limited since November 2021. In this role, Sam oversees product support, catalogue development, and product development. Prior to this position, Sam worked as a Product Engineer and later as a Product Development Associate at BaxtersMTQ, one of Australia’s largest automotive electrical distributors, from February 2020 to November 2021. Earlier experience includes serving as a Postal System Operator at Diggers Club from September 2016 to November 2021. Sam holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Product Design Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Engineering Practice, both obtained from Swinburne University of Technology, along with a VCE from Woodleigh School.
