Stephen Barker

Stephen Barker has extensive experience in Occupational Health and Safety and Human Resources, with a notable tenure at Baptcare from November 2004 to 2007 as the Manager of Workplace Health and Safety. In this role, Stephen developed and managed safety management systems across 42 sites, ensuring compliance with various accreditation standards and promoting a strong safety culture. Additionally, Stephen provided high-level technical advice to the Board and Executive Leadership Team on risk management and oversaw all workers' compensation matters. Following this, Stephen served as Head of Health and Safety - Executive Sponsor at Australian Home Care from April 2007 to December 2012, where leadership and alignment of the organization's OHS policy with business objectives were key responsibilities.
