Omar Faruk has extensive experience in the power generation industry, currently serving as Assistant Shift Incharge at Baraka Group since November 2021, focusing on the Karnaphuli 110 MW Co-Generation HFO IPP Power Plant. Prior to this role, Omar held positions as Shift Engineer at Power Pac Jamalpur 100 MW HFO Power Plant from March 2016 to November 2021, Assistant Engineer at Orion Power Megnaghat 100 MW HFO Power Plant from March 2014 to March 2016, and Shift Operator at Northern Power Solution 50 MW HFO Power Plant from February 2012 to March 2014. Educational qualifications include a Diploma in Power Engineering from Rajshahi Polytechnic Institute, completed in November 2012, and secondary education at Rajshahi Jute Mills High School, completed in 2008.

It has started its journey in 2007 and at present it has four power generating companies located at Sylhet and Chattogram among which two of those are listed in stock markets.
