Andy Ruland is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in engineering leadership roles. Currently serving as the VP of Engineering at baraka since January 2024, Ruland has previously held similar positions at BUX and CTO roles at eatigo, smove systems, and ZIWO. Ruland began a career in software development at pirobase imperia gmbh, advancing from Product Development to QA Manager and Professional Services. Initial technical experience includes a summer role as a Technical Support Engineer at PC Parlor in 2004, following a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Software Development from Adolf Kolping Technical College earned between 2006 and 2009.
