Peter Rawlins

Peter Rawlins has over 38 years of work experience. Peter began their career in 1982 as an Economist and Business Simulation Programmer at Ronald Brech Research and Communications Inc. In 1985, they moved to Rémy Genton Data Ltd. where they worked as a Field and Desk analyst of the European Ofimatics market. In 1989, they joined Johnson Controls as a Sales Manager/KAM for Iberia Norte, and later as an Operations Manager for North Spain and Technical Director Spain. In 2016, they became Director of Global Business Development at NEXT CENTURY CONSULTING SL. Most recently, in 2020, they were appointed VP BizDev at Barbara IoT.

Peter Rawlins has a long and varied educational history. Peter completed their Doctoral Studies and Investigator in Neural Computing (Deep Learning) at the Physics Department of The University of Edinburgh from 1988 to 1989. From 1987 to 1988, they completed their M.Sc. in Computer Science at the University of Hertfordshire, specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Parallel Computation. Lastly, they completed their B.Sc.(hons) in Economics at Loughborough University School of Business and Economics from 1979 to 1982. Additionally, they obtained their BREEAM® ES ASSOCIATE certification from BREEAM® España in November 2015.
