Daniela Modena is an accomplished professional in biomedical engineering with a Ph.D. from Eindhoven University of Technology. Daniela began an internship at TECNALIA Research & Innovation in 2014 and further developed expertise as a Researcher Ph.D. Candidate at Philips, focusing on mathematical modeling of High Intensity Focused Ultrasound for tumor treatment. From 2020 to 2025, Daniela served as an International Project Manager at IDIAPJGOL, successfully managing multiple EU-funded projects. Currently, Daniela holds the position of Research Project Manager at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center, overseeing national and international projects within the Earth Science Department. Daniela also holds degrees in Information Engineering from University College Cork and a Master’s in Bioengineering from Università degli Studi di Genova, achieving high academic accolades throughout the educational journey.
