Max Pellert

Max Pellert is a cognitive scientist trained at the University of Vienna and the University of Ljubljana, with a PhD in Computational Social Science from the Medical University of Vienna. They conducted research on emotional behavior and affective expression on social media. After completing their PhD, Max worked as an Assistant Researcher at SONY Computer Science Laboratories in Rome, an Assistant Professor at the University of Mannheim, and held an interim professorship at the University of Konstanz. Currently, they are a Principal Investigator at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center, focusing on interdisciplinary computational methods and emotional well-being in digital contexts.
