Mohammad Usman is a PhD researcher at Universitat de Barcelona, focusing on the development of AI models to understand the striatum in healthy brains and those affected by Huntington's disease. In addition, Usman serves as an academic visitor at Barcelona Supercomputing Center. Previously, as a senior machine learning engineer at SLOSH AI Solutions, Usman transformed radiology through advanced AI applications, specifically in chest X-ray disease classification. Usman's earlier experience includes working as a research assistant at COMSATS University Islamabad, contributing to computer vision solutions for medical imaging, and holding roles as a software engineer and research associate at THOSE. Usman's educational background includes a PhD in Computer Science from Universitat de Barcelona, an MS in Computer Science from COMSATS University Islamabad, and a BS in Computer Science from The Islamia University of Bahawalpur.
