Sam Grainger is an environmental social scientist and the current co-coordinator of Climateurope2, specializing in applied research focused on climate services, uncertainty communication, and stakeholder engagement. They served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Leeds from 2017 to 2019, collaborating on projects to address climate uncertainty in China. Prior roles included a PhD researcher at the Grantham Institute for Climate Change at Imperial College London, where they explored water governance, and a Senior Research Analyst at Trilateral Research from 2022 to 2023. Sam holds a PhD in Water Resources and Visual Communication from Imperial College London, along with a Master’s degree in Water Security and International Development.
