In october 2014, Arturo J. Gil R., founder and CEO, realized the lack of entertainment options catering business school student needs: good service, excellent customer care and a high quality in general.

During this first year the first events took place. Voice spread among business schools, attracting more participants each event. In summer 2015 Bruno Ferenci, current CMO, joined the team. Together they organized dozens of events during the academic year of 2015-2016.

In summer 2016, with a team already behind, Barceloning took on new heights. La Gozadera was born, first in Bestial Beach Club, then in La Fira Provença, where it has established itself as the weekly meeting point for business schools in Barcelona, with more than 500 visitors weekly.

In 2017 the group organized more than 100 events. Some highlights are Barceloning World Tour, which took place in Bestial during the summer, attracting over 1.2k assistants each edition.

In the last trimester of 2017 Barceloning grew exponentially in terms of weekly events.

La Fira Villarroel opens its doors and Barceloning is in charge of its Marketing. That way Salsa Picante and La Fira, the Friday and Saturday sessions are born.

The Secret also gets underway, taking place in Los Altos, the third floor of Otto Zutz, aimed at an older crowd that requires more exclusivity.

February 5th of 2018 sees the birth of a Monday project called 'I Hate Monday', taking plae in City Hall, aimed at a younger and more international crowd.

All these combined with events in the most important venues in the city (Sutton, Otto Zutz, Catwalk and Opium).

The objectives for 2018 are to invest and develop the IT infraestructure behind the company, as well as a consolidation of all of our weekly events. Last but not least, to delve more into corporate events.
