Andrew Mortimer

Andrew Mortimer is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment banking and operations management. Since June 2009, Andrew has held the position of Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer at Barclays Bank plc, overseeing the Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, and Wealth & Investment Management operations across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region from Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Additionally, Andrew serves as Chair of the British Business Group Dubai and Northern Emirates since June 2022 and previously worked as Partner at SRM Global Master Fund LLP, where Andrew directed operations for a $3 billion fund. Prior to this, Andrew was the Managing Director of European Operations at UBS Investment Bank, leading a large team across multiple cities and managing a diverse range of investment banking products. Andrew earned an MBA in Applied General Management from the University of Sussex between 2002 and 2004.
