Christopher Smith

Christopher Smith is currently the Global Head of Trade and Control Room Surveillance at Barclays, bringing over 15 years of management experience in Compliance, Middle Office and Operations, Project Management, and Sales and Trading. Previously, Christopher held various roles at major financial institutions, including Vice President at Citi overseeing multiple Middle Office groups and regulatory compliance for fixed income trading. They also contributed to Bloomberg LP in Fixed Income Electronic Trading and served as a Bond and Credit Default Swap Broker for several firms. Christopher earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from the University of Tampa's John H. Sykes College of Business, where they continue their education.
