Craig Rye

Craig Rye is the VP of Climate & Sustainability Research at Barclays, a position held since 2022. They previously served as an Associate Research Scientist at NASA from 2021 to 2022 and have held various research roles, including Postdoctoral Researcher at Columbia University from 2017 to 2019 and at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2019 to 2020. Craig earned a PhD in Ocean Physics from the University of Southampton and a degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of East Anglia. Their research experience also includes a stint as a PhD student at the National Oceanography Centre and a Research Fellow at the Centre for the Understanding of Sustainable Prosperity.
