David Hansen has extensive experience in database engineering and system administration, currently serving as Vice President of Database Engineering in GTIS Service Delivery at Barclays since August 2007. In this role, David is responsible for the strategic alignment of the database technologies roadmap and planning the implementation strategies for database and related infrastructure technologies. Prior to Barclays, David worked as a Senior Database Administrator at Micros Systems, managing databases for web applications serving client hotels and restaurants globally. David also held positions as a Database Administrator at Bank of America and F. Schumacher & Co., specializing in Oracle database management.
