David King

David King is the Managing Director and Global Head of Tech M&A at Barclays, a position they have held since 2024. Prior to this role, David served as Managing Director and Co-Head of Technology M&A at Bank of America Merrill Lynch from 2020 to 2024, and at Deutsche Bank from 2016 to 2020. They also held the position of Managing Director and Co-Head Technology M&A at BofA Merrill Lynch from 2000 until 2016 and worked as a Principal Consultant at PwC from 1994 to 1998. David earned an M.B.A. in Accounting and Finance from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Government from Georgetown University.
