David Shaw

David Shaw is an experienced professional in product innovation and customer strategy with a substantial background spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Director of Product Innovation at Barclays since September 2025, Shaw previously held leadership roles such as Head of Retirement Proposition at Royal London and Director of Marketing & Customer Strategy at Tesco Bank, where responsibilities included driving customer insight and enhancing brand health. Shaw also contributed as a Board Member at The Data Lab - Innovation Centre and has a wealth of experience in digital transformation through positions at Deloitte Digital and Sky. Educational qualifications include a B Eng Hons in Civil Engineering from The University of Edinburgh.
