David Šimonek has extensive experience in software engineering, beginning with a role as a SW Engineer at NetBeans from 1998 to 1999, where work focused on various components of the NetBeans IDE and platform. Following this, David held positions at Sun Microsystems from 1999 to 2010 as a Staff Engineer, leading efforts on the core of NetBeans and contributing to UI development and support for Maven IDE. Subsequent roles include Senior Software Engineer at CA Technologies from 2010 to 2015, working on workload automation applications, and a position at NetSuite in 2016, focusing on cloud file storage solutions. David transitioned to a Senior Consultant role at Profinit from 2016 to 2018, developing a bitcoin exchange system, and later served as a Full Stack SW Engineer at fnx.io until 2019.
