Eelko Luning

Eelko Luning currently serves as the Head of Investment Banking Netherlands and Managing Director at Barclays since October 2010, overseeing Netherlands and Benelux coverage. Prior to Barclays, Eelko Luning worked at ING as an M&A Analyst from September 2007 to September 2010, and at ABN AMRO Rothschild as an intern in Equity Capital Markets for a brief period in 2006. The early career included an internship at DSM, focused on e-business strategy for Sarlink in 2006. Eelko Luning holds a CFA Level 1 certification and earned both an MSc. in Financial Engineering and a BSc. in Industrial Engineering and Management from the University of Twente, along with an International Baccalaureate diploma.
