Gem Stevenson

Gem Stevenson has extensive experience in administrative and compliance roles, predominantly within the financial services sector. Starting with a position at The Number One Health Group Ltd as PA to the Medical Director, Gem progressed to various roles including PA to the Authorisations Director at the Financial Services Authority and PA to the Chief Operating Officer at the Bank of England. Before joining Barclays UK, Gem served as EA to the Compliance Chief Operating Officer at Barclays, providing comprehensive support during a significant transition period. In a notable role as part of the Compliance Career Academy learning team, Gem developed the Compliance Capability Framework and collaborated with Cambridge Judge Business School. Additionally, Gem has contributed to the Barclays LifeSkills initiative, creating resources to support over 13 million beneficiaries. Gem holds a BSc/BA Hons degree in Psychology and Social Science from Canterbury Christ Church University and has a B Tech National Diploma in Equine Management.
