Jay Astle

Jay Astle is an accomplished corporate development professional with extensive experience in strategic partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, and product innovation within the financial services sector. Currently serving as Director of Corporate Development at Barclays since May 2024, Jay previously held the position of Senior Vice President, M&A/Strategic Partnerships at Onboard Partners until October 2024, advising major banks and Fintechs on portfolio transactions and strategic decisions. Prior experience includes significant roles at JPMorgan Chase & Co., where Jay advanced to Vice President of Product Innovation and contributed to major M&A transactions generating over $25 billion in value for Chase Card Services. Jay began a career in the United States Marine Corps, achieving the rank of Captain, and holds an MBA in Corporate Finance and Operations from the University of Maryland.
