Joel Weaver

Joel Weaver is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and strategic roles across various sectors. Currently serving as Performance Strategy Lead at Barclays since April 2015, Joel has also held positions including Strategy Support Lead and Senior Project Manager for Barclays Financial Assistance. Joel's background includes significant contributions as an Interim Communications Specialist, managing colleague and stakeholder engagement as part of transformational change initiatives. Prior to Barclays, Joel worked at The Lowry as Project Manager for the "Inspired To Aspire" employability project, and at Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service, where a Future Jobs Fund project was led to aid young people in gaining workplace skills. Joel’s career began in 1995 at Fuchs UK Ltd, culminating in diverse management roles focused on community engagement, creative leadership, and developmental initiatives. Joel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business/Managerial Economics from The University of Lincoln.
