John Collins is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public policy, fintech, and government affairs. Currently, as Co-founder of the First State Fintech Lab, John is dedicated to establishing Delaware as a leader in financial technology. Prior roles include Head of US Office at Red Flag Consulting, Professional Staff at the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, and Head of Policy at Coinbase, where John developed global strategies for public policy within the digital currency sector. John's early career included work as a Legislative Fellow at the Delaware General Assembly, where crucial legislation was authored, and as a reporter for WDEL Radio. John holds two Master of Public Administration degrees and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of Delaware. Current roles also include serving as Director of Strategic Policy for the US Consumer Bank at Barclays and as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Delaware.
