John Sim

John Sim is a senior-level financial crime risk management professional currently serving as the Global Head of Financial Intelligence Unit at Barclays. With extensive experience in anti-money laundering, fraud, sanctions, and terrorist financing, John has a proven track record in program delivery across high-risk jurisdictions. Fluent in Spanish and Arabic, with a good working knowledge of French, John excels in communication and organizational structuring to combat financial crimes. Previously, John held leadership roles at Barclays Private Bank, RBS, and Nordea, managing multinational teams and budget responsibilities. John is currently pursuing education at the University of Westminster.
