Jonathan Steinberg

Jonathan Steinberg is currently the Vice President at Barclays, where they focus on regulatory implementation concerning SEC and CFTC regulations. Prior to this role, they were an Associate in the Banking Group at Debevoise & Plimpton from 2018 to 2025, engaged in legal tasks linked to financial institutions and capital markets. Jonathan also gained valuable experience as a Summer Intern at the New York State Department of Financial Services in 2016, where they advised on banking matters. They earned a Doctor of Law degree from Columbia Law School, where they were recognized as a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and James Kent Scholar, and also hold dual Bachelor's degrees in Talmud & Rabbinics and Mathematics, graduating Summa Cum Laude from The Jewish Theological Seminary and Columbia University, respectively.
