Mark Gibbs

Mark Gibbs is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as the Head of Markets Quantitative Analysis at Barclays since 2022. Prior to this, Gibbs held key leadership roles, including Head of Quant Architecture at Coremont LLP from 2019 to 2022 and Head of Equities Quantitative Analysis at Citi from 2009 to 2019. Their extensive experience also includes serving as the European Head of Equity Derivatives Strats at Goldman Sachs and Head of EMEA Equities Quantitative Analysis at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter. Mark earned a PhD in Theoretical Physics and a BA in Physics from the University of Cambridge, completing their studies in 1997 and 1994, respectively.
