Mick Sear

Mick Sear is an experienced software engineer with a diverse background in technical leadership and cloud transformation across various high-profile companies. Currently serving as an Adoption Software Engineer (VP) at Barclays since July 2025, Mick previously held roles as a Principal Software Engineer at Mimecast and as a Technical Lead at Avanti Communications, where expertise in backend systems and satellite bandwidth management was leveraged. Other notable positions include Technical Lead at Virgin Media O2, Cloud Transformation Engineer at Credit Suisse, and DevOps Tech Lead at Coats, where Mick significantly contributed to numerous transformation projects and cloud migrations.
