Neil Brown

Neil Brown is an experienced financial services professional with a focus on loan transaction management within corporate banking. Currently serving as the Director and Head of Loan Transaction Management at Barclays since March 2019, Neil leads a 10-person team responsible for loan execution to corporate borrowers in the UK and Europe. Prior experience includes a role as Director in Loan Transaction Management at HSBC Global Banking and Markets, and as Executive Director in charge of the Asia Pacific region at Law Debenture Trust (Asia) Limited. Neil also held various positions at Barclays from 2001 to 2016, including Director for Loan Transaction Management in Asia Pacific. Neil's career began in retail banking and advanced through several roles in leveraged and acquisition finance, demonstrating expertise in structuring, execution, and client negotiation across diverse markets and sectors. Neil holds a Bachelor’s Degree from London Metropolitan University.
