Peter Salter

Peter Salter has extensive experience in cybersecurity management, having served as the Manager of the Cyber Crime Centre for the Government of Northern Ireland from October 2005 to December 2015. At Barclays, Peter held multiple significant roles, including Barclays Europe Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), where responsibilities included managing the cybersecurity posture across Barclays Europe and engaging with stakeholders such as the ExCo and Board. Peter also served as the Director of the Barclays Global Joint Operations Centre, overseeing 24/7 security operations, and held the position of Deputy CISO for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Additionally, Peter was Vice President of Cyber Threat Intelligence at Europol for a brief period in 2015.
