Situ Ma is currently a Vice President at Barclays, having progressed from an AVP position since joining the firm in 2022. Prior to their role at Barclays, Situ worked as a Quantitative Researcher at Harvest Fund Management and served as a Research Assistant at the University of California, Los Angeles, where they applied machine learning to obesity prediction and contributed to Fourier analysis research. Situ holds a Master of Science in Computational Finance from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics-Economics and Statistics from UCLA. Additionally, Situ is a Kaggle Competition Master and has achieved recognition in various data competitions, including a gold medal in the Optiver Realized Volatility Prediction challenge.
