Stephen Boynton

Stephen Boynton is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership and management across military and financial sectors. Serving as a Lieutenant Commander in the Royal Navy from September 1987 to January 2006, Stephen held diverse roles including Ship’s Navigator, Communications Officer, and Fleet Aviation Training & Assessment Officer, demonstrating strong logistical and operational capabilities. Transitioning to the corporate world, Stephen worked at Barclays from January 2012 to May 2014, where responsibilities included serving as Director for Structural Reform & RRP Programme and Chief Operating Officer for Risk Analytics, overseeing significant budgets and initiatives in risk governance and model controls. Prior experience at Goldman Sachs as a Vice President involved managing operations for the Asset Services Income Team and overseeing proxy voting operations. Stephen earned an MBA in Business from The Open University between 2000 and 2004.
