Terry Docherty has extensive experience in financial operations and compliance, most recently serving as the Head of Operational Rigour in Group Financial Crime Operations at Barclays from June 2022 to July 2025. Previous roles at Barclays include Sanctions Compliance, Payment Processor, Accounts Payable Process Expert, Accounts Payable Supervisor, Sanctions Operations Services Manager, Account Governance Manager, and other positions focused on risk and control within financial operations. Terry's expertise encompasses management of sanctions business improvement, training, and quality assurance, as well as oversight of the accounts payable process and SOX control ownership. Educational background includes attendance at The Blandford School followed by studies at The University of Wolverhampton.
