Amit Jain

Amit Jain has over three decades of experience in manufacturing and production management within the electronics and software industries. Since November 2010, Amit has served as the Director of Manufacturing at Barco, overseeing high-end electronics, including PCBAs and final electronic box assembly. Prior to this role, Amit held positions at Newgen Software, including Deputy General Manager Manufacturing and Senior Manager Production, where responsibilities included managing operations across multiple sites and overseeing P&L for various business units. Amit's earlier experience includes working as Production Manager at Moser Baer India Ltd, focusing on process optimization and cost control, as well as a Production Engineer at UFLEX Group, where contributions included shift management and commissioning in a polyester film plant. Amit holds a B.E. in Electronics from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka, obtained in 1994.
