Daniel Lin

Daniel Lin has a strong background in software engineering and team leadership. Daniel has experience working for various companies including Barco, TomTom, FTDI Chip, Corel Corporation, and iaSolution/Aplix. In their most recent role at Barco, they served as a Sr. Software Engineer/Team Lead, leading a team of 6 members, recruiting and interviewing software engineers, and mentoring and coaching team members. At TomTom, they worked as a Sr. Software Engineer, enhancing their navigation software and implementing a Japan specific feature. Daniel also held positions as a Technical Lead at FTDI Chip, a Supervisory Engineer at Corel Corporation, and a Software Engineer at iaSolution/Aplix. Through their work experience, Daniel has demonstrated their ability to develop software/firmware, lead teams, solve complex problems, and effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Daniel Lin holds a Master's degree in Computer Science and Information Engineering from National Taiwan University, which they obtained from 2004 to 2007. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Information Engineering at Tamkang University from 1994 to 1998. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Web Security: OAuth and OpenID Connect and Web Security: User Authentication and Access Control from LinkedIn in 2021.
