Johan Bekaert

Johan Bekaert has extensive experience in communications and writing, currently serving as a Copywriter and Communications Executive at Barco since September 2011. Previous roles include Senior Corporate Copywriter and Senior Project Manager at Com&Co (2010-2011), Freelance Copywriter (2008-2010), Writer/Editor at Living Stone (2007-2008), and Journalist for a leading Belgian computer and multimedia magazine at Netwerk (2001-2007). Johan also worked as a freelance journalist in 2007 and began a career as a Software Engineer at Alcatel from 1997 to 2001. Educational qualifications include a degree in Informatics from Ghent University and a degree in Electronic Engineering from Katholieke Hogeschool Brugge-Oostende.
