Nick Denolf has extensive experience in product management and R&D roles in the technology and healthcare sectors. Nick has worked as the Vice President of R&D - Surgical & Modality at Barco, where they led a team of over 100 members and was responsible for new product introduction, product lifecycle management, and operational excellence. Prior to that, they served as the Head of R&D Healthcare - Surgical / Modality at Barco, overseeing similar responsibilities. Earlier in their career, they held positions such as Lead System Architect / R&D Manager System Validation - Healthcare at Barco, Product Manager - Avionics at ScioTeq and Esterline, Technology & Product Manager and Senior System Architect - Global at TP Vision, and System Architect and Platform Architect at Philips. Nick has a strong background in system architecture, project management, and product development.

Nick Denolf earned a Master's degree in Electronics & Telecommunications from HOWEST Hogeschool West-Vlaanderen, in the years 1994-1998. Nick then attended the Berlitz Language School in 1998-1999 to study English, French, and German languages. In 2002-2003, Denolf pursued a postgraduate degree in Design from HOWEST Hogeschool West-Vlaanderen. Additionally, they obtained a Laureaat Photographer certification from Syntra West in 2005-2006. Denolf has also received certifications in Continuous Improvement Factory (CIF-Academy) from Esterline Advanced Displays in 2017, Scrum & Agile from iLean in 2015, and several other certifications related to project management and engineering from Philips at various points in time.
